NEJD MAGASIN NR4, NEJD UPPREPAR SIG

NEJD Magasin gör en rumslig publicering i 3:e Våningens utställningshall, ett allkonstverk med 8 inblandade konstnärer.

NEJD Magasin är en kulturtidskrift med årlig utgivning, och har publicerats sedan 2018 av konstnärerna David Eng och Johan Andrén. För utställningen NEJD Magasin NR4, NEJD upprepar sig, så har den redaktionella processen med magasinet översatts till en rumslig och kuratoriell process. På samma sätt som tidningen innehåller en eklektisk samling av konst, approprierade material, poesi, serier, kulturkritik och satir, så är utställningen ett sammelsurium av medium och uttryck. Tillsammans med inbjudna konstnärer och under ett övergripande tema så jobbar Eng och Andrén med att både kontrastera och harmoniera objekt och idéer som vid en första anblick inte har med varandra att göra, för att skapa en abstrakt men sammanhängande helhet.
 
Huvudmotivet för denna fjärde utgåva av NEJD Magasin, i form av ett allkonstverk med totalt 8 inblandade konstnärer, är upprepningar, repetitiva handlingar och samlande. Detta gestaltas i skulptur, teckning, fotografi, video, ljudverk och performance, och även genom hittade material och ready mades.
 
Under vernissagen för NEJD Magasin NR4 så är det även release för NEJD Magasin NR3, NEJD korresponderar, en publikation som tagit form under 2021. Magasinet finns till salu på plats under hela utställningsperioden, med reservation för att det säljer slut.

NEJD Magasin makes a spatial publishing in 3:e Våningen’s exhibition hall, a gesamtkunstwerk with 8 participating artists.
 
Opening January 29th 15-21, with performances by Ingvild Bertelsen and Longest Night.
We only admit 20 people at a time, in accordance with current restrictions. Please stay home if you have any symtoms.
The exhibition is open until February 14th, wed—sun 12—16, free admission.
 
NEJD Magasin is a culture journal with yearly issues, and has been published since 2018 by the artists David Eng and Johan Andrén. For the exhibition NEJD Magasin NR4, NEJD repeats themselves, the editorial process has been translated into a spatial curatorial process. In the same way that the publication contains an eclectic mix of art, appropriated materials, poetry, comics, culture critique and satire, the exhibition is a jumble of mediums and expressions. Together with invited artists and under a given theme Eng and Andrén works with contrasting and harmonising objects and ideas that at a first glance are unrelated to each other, to create an abstract but coherent whole.
The main motif of this fourth issue of NEJD Magasin, in the shape of gesamtkunstverk with 8 involved artists, is repetitions, repetetive acts and collecting. This is expressed through sculpture, drawing, photography, video, sound works and performances, as well as found materials and ready mades.
During the opening of NEJD Magasin NR4 the publication NEJD Magasin NR3, NEJD corresponds will also be released, which has taken shape during 2021. The publication will be for sale at 3:e Våningen during the whole exhibition, with the proviso that it sells out.
